Responsibilities:
Keyword Research:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and phrases.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in search engine algorithms.
On-Page Optimization:
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and images for improved search engine visibility.
- Implement best practices for URL structure and internal linking.
Off-Page Optimization:
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks.
- Monitor and manage the website’s backlink profile to ensure quality and
relevance.
Content Strategy:
- Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly, engaging, and relevant content.
- Ensure content is optimized for target keywords and user intent.
Technical SEO:
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as site speed, mobile friendliness, and crawl errors.
- Work closely with the development team to implement technical SEO
improvements.
Performance Monitoring:
- Use SEO tools and analytics platforms to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Make data-driven decisions to refine SEO strategies.
Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in our SEO strategy.
- Stay informed about the activities of industry competitors.
SEO Recommendations:
- Provide recommendations and insights to improve the website’s SEO performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO recommendations.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on SEO performance, outlining key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Present findings and progress to management as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in SEO, including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices.
- A passion for staying current with industry trends and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience with HTML and website content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in SEO.
